H600w - Condition-program & load calculator

The program use the hull & tank geometry defined inside H100w
The DOS-based load calculator, H600, was TYPE-approved by DNV in 1995 with certificate No.A5333. This Certificate had a duration of two years. The program has recently been the subject of an ongoing development with major changes / improvements; therefore we have waited to apply for a new type approval from DNV. We have still a few items to be done before we make a new type approval. So if you are entitled to a loading calculator on board, the loading instrument must be approved by the vessels classification society.

As long as you see the traffic light is GREEN, Everything is okay!
If the traffic light is RED, you must stop. Then the loading condition is NOT OK!
Point at the RED light, and you are told what is wrong.
For this you must have defined stability criteria (condition claims) and of cause those have to be properly defined.

Single input for existing tanks (%, M3, Tons, Sounding, Ullage).
Load can be freely placed by entering the weight, LCG, VCG, TCG and Length.
Data can be obtained from container program, H601w.

Calculate flow waterline with GZ curve.
In the GZ-Curve-Diagram data for Wind, Grain or Towing can be shown! Calculate the longitudinal strength.
Shear Forces, Bending moment and Torsion moment are compared with the defined MAX values.

Estimating the stability of a vessel after damage is as easy as the calculation of intact stability with HYPET. You define loading conditions and afterwards you can choose which damage cases you want to check. You can check any damage case to see if the loading condition can survive these specific cases. The program checks if damaged compartments are filled or not. If the damaged compartment is not empty, the tank will be emptied automatically using the defined DW-code and afterwards be filled with sea water up to the final waterline after damage.

Here you can perform completely automatic grain stability calculations. You can fill one or several grain cargo compartments and the program will calculate the load method that you specified beforehand. For a completely filled grain compartment you can choose between three different accepted methods, while for a partially filled room you can choose between two methods according to the International Grain Code. Should you later wish to change the method, do this by selecting a different method and the program updates all your conditions in seconds. In reality you enter only one ullage value or filling level for the grain compartment and then the program will find the grain heeling moment and calculate the maximum allowed heeling moment for the current loading condition. All grain data is clearly presented in the condition table and the printout shows clearly which methods you have chosen.

H600w offers you very nice and simple to use output functions. You have the option to choose several reports for loading conditions and “Notes to the Master“ (General Cargo and Grain).
With the program you can print a loading condition on one page or a very detailed description of all defined stability and strength calculations that are performed. The program gives you the possibility to include a table of content in the document.
I expect that in the near future the Authorities (Flag State Authorities and Classification Societies) will require that all reports will be submitted as a PDF file. HYPET provides you perfect output possibilities for that!
